Yule Log 2018

The William & Mary campus gathered in the Wren Courtyard for the annual Yule Log event. The festivities started caroling by the W Choir, followed by a timely parody of Twas the Night Before Christmas read by Ginger Ambler. The crowd waited in anticipation to see what changes their new president, Katherine Rowe, would bring to the program. She did not disappoint. After reading Snow Day, she led tine crowd in a singalong of Let It Go. After seasonal readings and a spirited performance by the Gentlemen of the College, the Yule Logs were put on the fire in the Great Hall and President Rowe led the procession of hundreds in tossing their holly sprigs into the blaze. Afterwards, the president posed with students on the portico until there were no more photos to take. (Skip Rowland ’83)
